In Canada, in the province of Quebec, it's winter. In January, it is so cold that the St. Lawrence River is covered with ice. The kids are happy because they skate and play hockey on the river. Meanwhile, Dad is making holes in the ice and fishing. It's nice to play outside in winter. Suddenly, Mom screams loudly and calls for help.
Au Canada, dans la province de Québec, c’est l’hiver. En ce mois de janvier, il fait si froid que le sol est couvert de neige et le fleuve Saint-Laurent est couvert de glace. Les enfants sont contents, car ils patinent et jouent au hockey sur le fleuve. Pendant ce temps, le papa fait des trous dans la glace et pêche du poisson. C’est agréable de jouer dehors en hiver. Tout à coup, maman crie très fort et appelle à l’aide.
