“I wanted to invite you and your wife to come to my house before, but now you came to Taiwan! If you don't mind, come home and stay for a few days.” says Jason. It is the Chinese New Year; the atmosphere of the streets is lively. "I just want to go to the New Year's Street. Do you want to come with me?" Jason asks. The family had never visited Taiwan in New Year. It is new for them. Walking into the crowded street, they buy the Spring Festival couplets, candy biscuits and the ingredients for their hot pot. They carry a lot of bags and do new year’s shopping.
«Je voulais vous inviter, toi et ta femme, à venir me visiter ! Maintenant que vous êtes à Taiwan, restez chez moi quelques jours.» dit Jason. C'est le Nouvel An chinois. L'atmosphère des rues est vibrante. «Je dois aller dans la rue du Nouvel An. Voulez-vous m'accompagner ?» demande Jason. La famille n'a jamais visité Taiwan au Nouvel An, C'est tout nouveau. En marchant dans les rues bondées, ils achètent des biscuits et les ingrédients pour la fondue traditionnelle. Les emplettes emplissent plusieurs sacs qu'ils trimbalent.
「之前本來就想要邀請你們來台灣玩，順便帶你們參觀一下，但既然這麼剛好，你們來到了台灣，不介意的話要不要來我家住個幾天呢?」Jason 親切的問，小男孩和他的父母們點頭答應，反正他們也沒地方住，就去拜訪Jason家吧。現在正值台灣的新年，街上充滿了熱鬧的氛圍。「剛好我正要去一趟年貨大街，你們要不要一起呢？」Jason問道。一家人沒有逛過年貨大街，覺得很新鮮，於是興奮的答應了Jason的要求。走入了人聲鼎沸的年貨大街，一家人在人潮擁擠的巷弄穿梭，他們買了春聯、糖果餅乾和圍爐需要的食材，一行人提著大包小包走到年貨大街的盡頭。
